The National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has unequivocally denied recent reports claiming that Dan Botwe, Member of Parliament for Okere, has resigned as Chairman of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s presidential campaign.

Dismissing these rumours as false and misleading, Nana B emphasized that Botwe remains actively involved in the campaign efforts.

Addressing the issue on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, Nana B clarified the situation, stating, “It is not true that Dan Botwe has been sidelined or has resigned. He is very pivotal to the campaign.” He further explained that Botwe’s temporary absence from a recent event was due to prior permission sought, a standard practice also observed by the National Chairman.

“There is no confusion in the campaign,” Nana B reassured, adding that Dr Bawumia will resume his tour after a recent meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC).

The refutation underscores the NPP’s commitment to maintaining cohesion and clarity within its campaign structure as Ghana prepares for the upcoming elections.
