In Twifo Atti-Morkwa, Central Region, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has pledged unwavering support for its parliamentary candidate, Ebenezer Dwamena, who was recently remanded into police custody and two others.

They face charges related to alleged fraud involving the non-delivery of a vehicle despite receiving payment from a local businessman in Twifo Praso.
Charles Amoah, the NPP communications officer for Twifo Atti-Morkwa, assured that the party stood firmly behind Dwamena and stressed that legal representation would be fully supported.
“Since the case is now in court, we leave it to the legal people to intervene in whatever processes will be done. Her Lordship gave us two weeks, so we are now waiting, and whatever can be done will be done early.”
According to reports from the constituency communication officer, Dwamena facilitated an introduction between friends and a car dealer following his successful vehicle purchase.
However, after the dealer received payment but failed to deliver the vehicle, legal actions ensued, resulting in the parliamentary candidate’s remand.
The presiding judge, Her Ladyship Sophia Priscila Yeboa, ordered the suspects into police custody pending further legal proceedings, which have been forwarded to the Attorney General’s Office for advice.
