The momentum is unstoppable, driving full speed toward victory on December 7th.

On November 7th and 9th, 2024, the NPP Sweepers, under the leadership of Patron Sammi Awuku, aspiring MP for Akuapem North, unleashed “The Big Storm” across the Odododiodio and Korle Klottey constituencies. With energy and determination, they rallied voters to secure strong support for their presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and NPP parliamentary hopefuls.

Other groups involved included the BoysBoys and GirlsGirlsgroups of the NPP.

Participants at the event marched through the streets of Odododiodio, where Mr. Manaf Sowah stands as the NPP parliamentary candidate and through Korle Klottey, represented by Mr. Valentino Nii Noi Nortey. The rally culminated at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly premises, where the crowd was addressed by prominent NPP figures. The energetic atmosphere and enthusiastic reception strongly hinted at a growing wave of support, with residents signalling their confidence in an NPP victory in the upcoming elections.

Accompanying the team were Mrs. Gifty Oware-Aboagye of the National Service Authority, musician Praye Tiatia, actors Prince David Osei, Kalybos and Jessica Williams, Ohene Boakye, Bernard Boamah, and many others.

The NPP Sweepers is a volunteer group of young professionals committed to promoting Dr. Bawumia’s vision and the progressive policies of the NPP parliamentary candidates. Through “The Big Storm” events, they aim to galvanise support and engage communities in every constituency.

As momentum builds, this is just the beginning. The Big Storm may be heading to your area next—stay tuned!
