Isaac Yaw Boamah Nyarko, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Effia Constituency, has committed to significantly increasing the party’s vote share in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
At the launch of his 35-member campaign team in Effia, Boamah outlined his strategy to boost the NPP’s performance from its current 60% vote share to over 70%.
He argued that while the NPP has historically won Effia with a solid majority, more is needed to establish the constituency as a definitive stronghold.
Boamah, a legal practitioner, expressed his confidence in achieving this target through his proactive engagement with the community, sharing his vision, and demonstrating his leadership qualities.
“Effia has the potential to deliver not less than 70% of the vote,” he asserted.
“Based on data from all polling stations, I am convinced that with a motivated base, we can push our numbers to at least 70%.”
He emphasized that failing to surpass the 70% mark would mean Effia could not be considered a true stronghold.
“Our goal is to transform Effia into an NPP stronghold by the 2024 elections and beyond,” Boamah said.
“With the campaign team now launched, we are set to take our message to the grassroots and secure the party’s support.”
Boamah highlighted his efforts in job creation and opportunity development as critical components of his campaign, underscoring his commitment to addressing the needs of Effie’s residents.
He believes that his track record and engagement with the community position him as the best candidate for the role.
Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame supported the campaign launch and praised Boamah’s reliability and trustworthiness.
“I have known Yaw Boamah for over 30 years, and I fully endorse him for this constituency,” said Dame.
“He has always been dependable, and I am confident in his ability to represent Effia effectively.”
Dame’s endorsement significantly boosts Boamah’s campaign as he seeks to solidify NPP’s position in Effia and secure a decisive victory in the upcoming elections.
