Mr Charles Amofah, the Ag. Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the National Sports Authority (NSA), has said, despite some minor complaints over the accreditation for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), qualifier between the Black Stars and Harambee Stars of Kenya, the process was handled effectively.
According to Mr. Amofah, measures were put in place to ensure that, there were no duplications in the process, whilst all media houses were accredited to cover the matches.
“We made sure media accreditation, were not duplicated though we had an overflow for the Ghana/Kenya, as well as Meteors game.
“We did our very best to give everyone an opportunity to cover the match,” he added.
Commenting on the Black Stars game against Harambee Stars, he said, he was impressed with the performance and was sure coach Kwesi Appiah would settle on the right players for the 2019 AFCON in June.
“I know Kwesi Appiah is going to use the right players, after making a thorough assessment on them.
“The new guys are good and can be maintained, but we must not any team if we want to win,” he said.
