A former president of the Ghana Football Association Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has called for the dismissal of Black Stars coach Avram Grant, describing the Israeli trainer as disloyal.
Grant has been consistently criticised by pundits and football administrators in Ghana for not regularly monitoring local league matches.
He was recently ordered by the GFA to return to Ghana after a lengthy stay in Europe where he was seen appearing as a pundit on Sky Sports and on other Sports platforms.
But the former board member of Accra Hearts of Oak said all indications show that the former Chelsea and Portsmouth coach is not prepared to work for Ghana’s senior national team.
“Believe me if I was the Minister of Sports I would have fired that man…you were employed to work in a particular place and for three months you were out of that place, he should be fired.
“I don’t think he is a special man…Grant is not prepared to work and the FA is afraid of him I don’t know why,” Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe told Kafui Dey host of GH Today in an interview.
