Zambia should Chinese tourism market, which is one of the biggest markets in Asia, in order to increase foreign exchange earnings, a local leader said on Thursday.
Amon Chisenga, Ndola city mayor on the Copperbelt Province, said China has had no conditions attached to trade.
“Zambia has to penetrate into the Chinese market, China has numbers and Zambia stands a chance to market its products in terms of tourism in the Asian country,” he said.
Chisenga said trading with China is very important for Zambia’s economic growth.
Chisenga noted that strengthened bilateral relations between China and Zambia will result in a win-win situation for both countries.
He further said the 55th diplomatic relations with China should be valued, which has led to enhanced infrastructure developments in Zambia. Enditem
