The objective of the maiden Petronia City Development Project in Ghana is to provide the enabling environment with support structures and amenities to complement the fast developing Oil and Gas, Shipping and logistics industries in the Western Region of Ghana.
The approximately 2,000 Acre Petronia City site is strategically located in the South- Western part of Ghana, about 260 Kilometres to the West of Accra and approximately 280 kilometres from the border of La Cote D’Ivoire.
The development of the new City should provide the much-needed bailout to Sekondi-Takoradi, the closest port to the Jubilee field. Sekondi-Takoradi currently serves as a home to the oil and gas industry however; congestion of the city and uncontrolled organic expansion of the metropolis continues to affect positive physical development commensurate with the resultant boom of the oil find.
Sekondi-Takoradi is the third most industrialised, most populous city in Ghana.
Designed to provide a unique lifestyle experience and a wide range of facilities and services to compliment the
emerging oil and gas industry, Petronia is bound to give a quantum leap with its new, vibrant, spacious master planned urban development consisting of a coherent and self-sustaining community mix of residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, resort and entertainment venues.
