Mr. Alassane Thiermo Diack, Executive Director of OlympAfrica Foundation on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on the Youth and Sports Minister, Hon.Isaac Kwame Asiamah at his office in Accra.

The working visit was to inform the Minister about the activities of his organisation and the plans it has to assist the country in the area of talent grooming and the provision of sports facilities.

He applauded the Minister for his commitment to Youth development and assured him that his organisation would assist the government in that endeavour.

Mr Diack disclosed that his organisation would assist in the face-lift of the Amasaman Juvenile Sports Excellence facility to meet the international standards to help the young sports lovers unearth their talents.

Hon. Isaac Asiamah expressed his gratitude to Mr Diack, a Senegalese for his continuous commitment to the country especially in the area of Youth development and Sports promotion.

He guaranteed him that government would continue to provide Sports infrastructure across the nation to enhance the development of the Young persons in the country.

Present at the meeting were the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Perry Okudjato, the GOC President, Ben Nunoo Mensah, Paul Atchoe, 1st Vice President of the GOC, Melvin Brown, President of Ghana Karate do, Shaban Mohammed of the Ghana Cycling Association / NPC and Sammy Heywood Okine, Communications Director of the GOC in charge of social media and Dr. Emmanuel Owusu Ansah, the Special Advisor to the Minister of Youth & Sports.
