?Only Ofosu Ampofo Can Develop Tema West? – Asiedu Nketia

Mr Asiedu Nketia, the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged the electorates of the Tema West Constituency to massively vote for Samuel Ofosu Ampofo to represent them in parliament to push their development agenda.

Mr Nketia explained that except Samuel Ofosu Ampofo and the NDC, no Member of Parliament (MP) can change the fortunes of the area.

Addressing a charged NDC crowd at Tema Community Two where Ofosu Ampofo launched his campaign, Mr Asiedu Nketia explained that the NDC?s parliamentary candidate is a result oriented political material whose achievements are scattered across the country.

Mentioning some developmental achievements of Mr Ampofo at the Fanteakwah District in the Eastern Region where he used to be the area?s MP, his political achievements since he joined the NDC and his present developmental achievements as the Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Nketia told the crowd that Ampofo is a tried and tested political candidate who has the potential of making Tema regain its enviable legacy.

He said, ?Vote for Ampofo in this year?s parliamentary election so that he will regularly put your problems across. He will not be like some MPs who only go to parliament to demonstrate their beauty.?

Overwhelmed by the mass of supporters who thronged the Community Two Sakasaka Park to grace his campaign launching, Mr Ofosu Ampofo expressed shock at his critics who continued to lash him for abusing his incumbency by providing Tema West with some developmental projects.

Observing that security has been the major challenge the constituency is faced with, Ampofo said he would continue to provide streetlights to areas that he thought needed them.

Ampofo charged the crowd when he emphasized that he would not cease providing the constituency with the development it needed, saying, ?Some believe in mounting signboards to show what they are yet to do, but I believe in carrying out the action for the people to testify.?
