Kotoko chief Samuel Opoku Nti is thrilled with the recruitment of the team ahead of the new season.
The Porcupine Warriors have brought in 11 new players ahead of the new campaign.
Theophilus Nyame, Bennett Ofori, Evans Quao, Samuel Kyere, Osei Agyemang, Edwin Tuffuor and Azeko Mandela are some of the new players brought in to bolster the squad.
And the club’s General Manager Samuel Opoku Nti is delighted with the new signings.
“It our dream to build a team that a have good substitute. Last season we fell short but our numbers were not enough,” he told Accra-based Starr FM
“Most of our players were playing through the pain barrier. They didn’t have time to nurse their injuries.
“This season I believe we have a good substitute and a god team. I depends on the system the coach wants to adopt.
“I am happy that the coach will have so many options.”
The dethroned Ghanaian champions have been tipped to win reclaim the title this term.
