Chinese mobile phone manufacturer, OPPO Mobile, on Wednesday launched into the Kenyan market one of its latest smartphones, the OPPO F7 that comes with 25 megapixel artificial intelligence (A.I.) camera.

Jesse Wu, OPPO Kenya Brand Director, said that the full HD plus 6.23-inch super full screen design, will give consumers a better interaction through enhanced user interface.

“As leaders in the selfie industry with our Expert F-series for which we have received immense response especially from the youth, our focus has always been on bringing the best photography, selfie experience and design to the Kenyan consumers,” Wu said during the launch in Nairobi. The model is priced at 360 U.S. dollars.

In 2016, the firm was ranked as the number four smartphone brand globally.

James Irungu, OPPO Public Relations and Communications Manager, said the device will be on pre-order at both offline and online commerce malls between May 2 and May 6 after which it will go on sale in all major stores.
