A total of 1,800 school children and 400 adults at Agona Nyakrom have received free dental and health screening carried out by a team of Dental doctors and other medical staff from United States of America(USA) and Ghana.

The team cleaned the teeth of children to make them stronger and extracted bad ones while adults who were suffering from diseases such as diabetics, blood pressure (BP), eye problems and others were also treated.

Speaking to the media, Mr Kojo Frempong, a Ghanaian leader of the Medical Team from US said it started its voluntary work 10 years ago together with some selected medical staff from Ghanaian hospitals.

The beneficiary children from both public and private schools at Agona Nyakrom later received tooth brushes, exercise books, pencils and used clothing free of charge.

He said similar exercises had been carried out in Ashanti, Bono, Ahafo, Eastern and Greater Accra regions.
