The money, according to the company covers an insurance package, following a fire outbreak, which razed down and caused extensive damage to properties running into thousands of Ghana Cedis at the school in February this year.
Eight school children who were wounded as a result of a stampede also received a cheque for GHȻ 1,500.00 each.
Mr Michael Okyere Baafi, the Head of Marketing of Phoenix Insurance said the company had introduced new policies and asked corporate bodies, estate developers and Ghanaians in general to do business with it.
He emphasised that with phoenix, the welfare of customers is always guaranteed.
He indicated that the GHȻ 12,000.00 paid to the affected school children was not part of the insurance but to support their parents.
Mr Kwaku Ofosu-Kyere, the Headmaster of the school expressed appreciation to management of the company and other organisations and individuals for their support.
