Past students of the Jackson College of Education (JCE) have expressed regrets over the unlawful and rude behaviour exhibited by some its members at the headquarters of the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Ministry of Education on November 14, 2017.
They have therefore apologised to the leadership of GES and the Ministry of Education for the act of “insolence” shown by some of its members at their premises over the delays in their postings.
A statement signed by Mr Godwin Dogbey, Secretary to the old students and issued in Kumasi, said the leadership of the old students was appalled by the action taken by few of its members.
It said the students took that unprofessional act without proper consultation with the leadership and management of the institution.
The statement commended the GES and the Ministry of Education for taking steps to absorb and posting some of its members and hope the rest would also be posted to serve the country.
