Worshippers at the Tamale branch of Action Chapel International (ACI) have had their feet washed to usher them into the new year, 2022.

Reverend George Gado, Resident Pastor of the Tamale branch of ACI, who washed the feet of his congregants during the eve of the new year, said it symbolised the cleansing of negativities from the previous year to attract fortune in the new year.

Reverend Gado admonished members of the church to have a personal relationship with God and be consistent in worship to sail through mysteries of the new year.

With reference to Luke 4:18 in the Bible, he encouraged them to be mindful that everything needed in life had been provided by God hence the need to rely on Him.

Pastor Earl Samuels, Assistant Pastor at ACI – Tamale, said the church, as a body of Christ, must take dominion and authority over the earth as implied by the Bible and acknowledge that God gave glory onto man.
