Chelsea have agreed to a €63 million (£54 million) transfer for Portuguese winger Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The deal, which includes €60 million upfront and €3 million in add-ons, will see Neto undergo a medical at Stamford Bridge before finalizing his move.
This transfer would break Wolves’ record for their highest sale, surpassing the £47 million received for Ruben Neves’ move to Al-Hilal.
Chelsea’s summer spending has already surpassed £200 million, with new signings including midfielders Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Renato Veiga, defenders Tosin Adarabioyo and Aaron Anselmino, and others.
If all potential signings are completed, Chelsea’s summer spending could exceed £240 million. The club has recouped around £90 million from player sales, with further departures expected.
Chelsea’s squad could include as many as 50 players before their Premier League opener against Manchester City.
