Sao Paulo have signed Peru international midfielder Christian Cueva, the Brazilian club announced on Thursday.
Cueva will join up with his new club after the Copa America at the end of June.
“He is a young player in Peru’s national team who has performed well at an international level,” Sao Paulo football director Gustavo Vieira de Oliveira said.
“His characteristics were analyzed and approved by our technical department. He can dribble and he is quick.”
Cueva has been capped 22 times for Peru since his international debut in 2011. Enditem
