Peter of P-Square Says Africa, Its About Time



Peter Okoye, the other half of Nigeria?s P- Square has said that he decided to take up the mantle of scouting for new talents in the dancing fraternity because, he believes ?it is time we create something on our own as Africans.?

?I think as Africans, it is time we create something for ourselves, I did not want to go elsewhere for anything. I believe we have something and so we have to embrace it. I am really looking forward to get someone good from this country to go and represent Ghana in Nigeria,? he said in an interview with Berla Mundi on Live 91.9 FM on Tuesday.

He added ?Music is about dancing and dancing is about music and you can?t do without any of them so far as these two are concerned.?

Reacting to his assessment of the people who have so far turned up to be auditioned in his reality TV show dubbed ?Dance With Peter?, he said; ? so far , so good, it has been amazing, I mean the guys are really good and the competition is tight.?

Telecommunications operator, Glo Mobile, is sponsoring a Reality TV Show that is poised to change the face of entertainment on the continent.

The reality show is a 13-week dancing competition in partnership with the sensational African dance prodigy, Peter Okoye, the twin brother and partner in the sensational and multiple award winning musical group, P-Square.

Top dancers stand a chance of winning huge cash prizes and cars. The eventual top prize winner smiles home with the sum of GH?45,000, a brand new Toyota RAV4 and an opportunity to feature in P-Square?s next music video.

The first runner-up goes home with GH?30,000 and a brand new Honda Civic car while the second runner-up will take home the sum of GH?15,000 and a brand new Kia Rio car.
