She said every year, during the anniversary of PELA, the ladies donated to various institutions and they thought it wise to reach out to the Arm of the Lord?s Foster Home and school to spend quality time with the children.

She said in all, PELA raised GH? 14,000.00 and used GH? 5, 000.00 for the items and that the remaining GH? 9,000.00 would be used to refurbish of the school of the Home.

?During our 21st Anniversary, we heard about this orphanage and we are here today not only to donate but to help in the upgrading of the school it runs,? she said.

Ms Agbolooso-Mensah pledged PELA?s commitment and support towards the running of the institution.

Madam Evelyn Ansah Appiah, Founder of the Home, expressed appreciation to PELA for its support and appealed to other organisations to emulate its gesture.

She said the institution lived at the mercy of donations and appealed for support to complement its efforts in making the dreams of the children a reality.
