Plymouth Argle manager Derek Adams remains adamant about re-signing Crystal Palace Ghanaian midfielder Hiram Boateng.

The Pilgrims failed in their bid to sign the hugely talented midfielder on transfer deadline day.

But manager Derek Adams is refusing to give up hopes of re-signing the enforcer on loan at some stage.

He told Herald Sport: “I think there is a good chance of him (Boateng) coming back to us before the end of the season.

“He’s a player that we have missed from the point of view of being in the dressing room, we have missed having him around and we have obviously missed the competition for places as well.”

Boateng made the bench for Palace in their 2-1 home defeat to Bournemouth in the English Premier League on Tuesday night.
