PNC to Decide Party’s Future Ahead of 2024 Elections at Crucial NEC Meeting on November 25th

The People’s National Convention (PNC) has announced a pivotal National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting slated for Monday, November 25, 2024. This high-stakes gathering will deliberate on the party’s position regarding the upcoming 2024 general elections.

In a press statement issued by the party’s leadership, the decision to convene the NEC meeting followed extensive discussions and recent developments. The meeting aims to align the sfz party’s stance with the collective will of its members and stakeholders, reinforcing the PNC’s commitment to upholding its principles and values.

According to the statement, the decision to call the meeting was a majority resolution by the party’s Functional Executive Committee (FEC) at a meeting on Wednesday, the 20th of November, 2024. The leadership is optimistic that this approach will safeguard the supremee interest of the PNC while positioning the party strategically for the elections.

“We urge all members, supporters, and stakeholders to remain calm and continue to support the leadership as we work to uphold the principles and values of our great party,” the statement emphasized.

National Executives present at Wednesday’s FEC meeting included the party’s national Chairman Samson Asaki Awingobit, Depzuty General Secretary Prince Agyemzang, National Youth Organizer, Mark E. Arkoh, Abass Nuhu, the party’s National Organizer, the party’s 1st Vice Chairman, Martin Anafo, amongst others.

As the political landscape heats up ahead of the December 7th general elections, the PNC’s upcoming decision could play a critical role in shaping its trajectory. Stakeholders across the political spectrum will be watching closely.
