The People’s National Party (PNP) has officially opened nominations for its national positions in preparation for the 2024 elections.
Interested candidates can obtain nomination forms at the party’s Kokomlemle office.
According to a press release on August 8, 2024, the filing fees are as follows: GH¢100,000 for Presidential Candidates and Chairman positions, GH¢50,000 for Vice Chairman/Leader candidates, and GH¢30,000 for General Secretary aspirants.
Candidates for National Treasurer and National Organizer positions are required to pay GH¢20,000, while those seeking the roles of National Women’s Organizer and National Youth Organizer must pay GH¢10,000 and GH¢20,000, respectively.
The release also specifies that female aspirants are eligible for a 50% discount on the stated fees.
Candidates have until August 15 to submit their completed forms. The party’s congress, where the elections will take place, is scheduled for August 24 and 25.
