The Police Service was expected to address the media on Wednesday February 10 about progress made with investigations into the late MP’s killing.
However the press conference was suddenly called off without reason as to why it must be canceled.
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer, Effia Tenge said only five people have been arrested and are in police custody under interrogated over the MP’s death.
The NPP MP, Danquah Adu was murdered Tuesday dawn at his residence.
Although his wife was able to alert the police about the presence of the assailants in the house, the MP’s body was discovered by the police lying in a pool of blood in his bedroom at his Shiashie residence.
It came up that the assailant (s) were able to have access to his room through his front window using a ladder.
The police is still investigating the incident.
