The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) took its membership drive to Kwahu during the Easter festivity which saw over 800 people registering to become members of the party.
The exercise, which began on Easter Friday and ended on Saturday, also witnessed an appreciable number of residents in the area volunteering to actively canvass for more members for the PPP.
About 50 volunteer members of the PPP were involved in the exercise. The PPP also used the opportunity to distribute party paraphernalia including stickers, flags, mini calenders and pennants to people who expressed interest to join the party.
In an interview with Today, the National Coordinator of the Volunteer Program, Nii Armah Nkunim, stressed that the party will intensify its efforts to win more souls to join the party.
