Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika has reaffirmed that the national inclusive conference would likely help the country to meet the aspirations of the people, official APS news agency reported.
The country’s political, economic and social systems will be renewed through the national inclusive conference due to be held in the near future with the participation of all spectrum of the Algerian society, the president said on Monday .
The conference would develop a new “efficient economic model that would free the nation from depending on fluctuating oil prices,” Bouteflika added. He also urged Algerian people and army to stay united and safeguard the country’s peace and stability. This was the second time that Bouteflika called on Algerians to participate in this national inclusive conference, as his first call was rejected by the protesters. The opposition parties and personalities insisted that the transition era should not be led by any representative of the government.
