The New Patriotic Party said, it will resume its ?Restore Hope? campaign tour on Thursday, August 16.?

The party?s flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo was in the Western Region with his team when news of the late President?s demise was announced which caused the immediate suspension of the campaign tour.

?Mustapha Hamid, spokesperson for Nana Addo noted that the Party has spent enough time mourning the late President, and hence will be continuing with their tour to restore hope.?

According to him, the unfinished business in the Western Region will be taken care of after the tour of the Greater Accra is completed, explaining that the party has?other encounters besides just the restore hope tour and one of it is the IEA encounter that Nana Addo is scheduled to have on the 21st.

‘There are other several engagements in and around Accra that will require the presence of our Presidential candidate so we thought it wise to concentrate the campaign around the Greater Accra Region.?
