Ghana born, Rida Haisam was the breakout star at the just ended IBJJF USA National Tournament bagging a gold medal in the super heavyweight division and coming in third place in the absolute division.
A loss to Gabriel Almeida stopped Haisams double gold campaign. He won 5 matches via submission. Four via armbar and the last one via rear naked choke. The loss to Almeida was via decision.
