Mantrac Ghana, the sole and authorized dealer for Caterpillar construction and mining equipment, in collaboration with the Right to Dream Academy (RtD), will tomorrow launch the Mantrac Centre, a state-of-the-art football training facility at Old Akrade in the Eastern Region.

The Mantrac Centre is made up of eight first class grass pitches, providing Africa?s premier football academy with some of the best sports facilities in West Africa.

The relationship between RtD and Mantrac started at the end of 2012 when Mantrac generously donated the equipment and manpower to enable the construction of the pitches ? with four full-sized pitches and four 8-a-side pitches ? across five acres of land.

The Mantrac Centre has now played host to international teams from Nigeria and Ghana, including the Ghana U-17 and U-20 male and female teams; as well as two-time African Champions, Asante Kotoko.

The launch is expected to bring together high-ranking sports administrators, coaches, football stars, Mantrac staff and officials, as well as the RtD community.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Managing Director of Mantrac Ghana, Mr. Emad Adeeb noted: ?Our investment in RtD is vital in the sense that it will support the Academy?s aim to offer talented underprivileged children the opportunity to reach their true potential in life and claim a better future for Africa.  It is a remarkable objective worth getting behind.

?Mantrac?s support to RtD is one of the strongest illustrations of the positive developmental impact of corporate investment in Ghana in recent times.?
