Ghanaian international reggae musician, Rocky Dawuni has again received a nomination in the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRWMA). For the second year in a row, he received a nomination in the Best African Entertainer category, a category which he won in 2011.  The 2012 IRWMA will be held in July.
In an interview on Hitz FM, Rocky Dawuni said he feels honoured that the organizers continue to acknowledge his contributions in bringing African music as well as his brand of Ghanaian reggae music which  to the rest of the world. Rocky was nominated in the Best Album and Best African Entertainer categories of IRWMA in 2011 and he commented that it was proof that he has been very active on the international scene. Rocky also disclosed that he had been given the rights to record an unreleased song written by the legendry Bob Marley, which will be on his forthcoming album set for release this summer.
