Following the successful release of her album ‘The New Era Sessions’, which has already secured her a South African HipHop award (SAHHA) award and now 2 South African Music Awards (SAMAs) nominations, Rouge releases her latest video titled “Dololo”.
The album released in September 2017 was the inspiration behind the short film, also titled New Era Sessions, which saw her win a South African Film and Television Award (SAFTAs) for Best Micro Film.
The music video premiered on SABC 1’s music show Live Amp and includes the song signature dance moves called the #CEOSTEP or the #CEOCHALLENGE, which has since gone viral on all social media platforms.
Dololo made massive waves since the rapper challenged her fans and local celebs to participate in the music video by sending through videos of their version of the CEO step.
GUUUUUYS!! @PearlThusi just killed the #CEOSTEP #CEOChallenge ??
