Chinese company RSI Su-Lda is investing 1 million U.S. dollars in the production of tilapia in the Angolan northern province of Bengo, the campany spokesman Pedro Panzo announced Monday.

The project aims to build 200 tilapia fish farming tanks in Barra do Dande region, in Bengo the official said in Caxito the capital of the province.

Pedro Panzo underlined that the action will help combat hunger and poverty in the region and contribute to the social and economic development of the country.

He explained that 85 percent of the tanks have already been built. Enditem
