Gospel music artiste, Ruth Adjei, who also goes by the name ‘Rufet’, is carving a niche for herself in the music industry around the globe.
The exuberant of Ruth, a minstrel of God’s word through music hails from Apam in the Central region of Ghana.
She was born in Accra but later travelled with her parent, Rev and Mrs Adjei (General Overseer of The Spirit Leading Church Inc. with it’s head quarters in Liberia).
She stayed in Liberia about 9 years when she moved back to Ghana to further her education and has worked herself to a standard and is now being viewed by her fans in Ghana as the new sensation in the gospel music field.
Her stage performances coupled with a splendid voice that will make any hardened heart melt are the prime factor that?s drawing in her fans to wherever she performs.
The awesome gospel songs singer was quick to point out that God has brought her so far to where she is now and with an infectious smile she intermittently punctuated her responses with praises to God.
The beautiful strongly-built singer with crystal- like eyes graduated from the Proffesional Institute of Journalism in 2010 and digging deep into her early years growing up as a child she said music has been with her ever since.
Coming from a family of singers, she took a keen interest in singing during her school days and even worn thorns of awards.
She now combines music with her circular job and so passionate and zealous about the things of God.
Ruth has backed a lot of renowned gospel artists like Eugene Zuta, Joe Mettle, Kweku Gyasi, Cindy Thompson, Jack Alolome, Elder Collins Amponsah, Georgia Adjei, Comfort Annor, etc.
Ruth is now out with her Maiden Album entitled “LIQUID PRAYERS” which was recorded and mastered at Soundz Kitchen Studios, located at SCC, GICEL Estate, opposite the Fire Service off the Mallam Winneba road.
The memories of growing up until recently was not anything desirable to be remembered according to the rising artiste but mentioned how he?s deeply observed God has so many ways
of preparing His VESSEL.
I?m really grateful to Him for all the hardships I went through, she maintained.
Rufet divulged her career in gospel music has met many success but lies challenges, the greatest being acceptance but noted God says the battle is his and he?s winning if not won for him.
My mind is on the LORD, she stated. With God all things are possible and I?m seriously seeking his Kingdom and righteousness and with that all
things are being added to my life.
As I delved into his career to find out what it takes to become a gospel musician, Rufet indicated that everyone must be overflowing with the holy spirit so as to posses the imminent power of the GOSPEL OF CHRIST demonstrated
throughout the word.
This was the explanation she gave to the title of her Maiden Album “There are instances in life where situations seem so hopeless but ones we get down on our knees and say a fervent prayer, with tear and sweat flowing all over, God speaks!!!!
The album will be launched at the Sun Lodge Hotel, opposite Tesano Baptist Accra on June 1, 2014.
