The Board Chairperson of the ?Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA, Angelina Mornah Domakyaareh?has revealed that?the Attorney General’s Department was negotiating with the various partners to allow it ?retrieve with interest, its funds spent on various projects.
She also revealed that the terms of the refund and the necessary moralities are being put in place with the assistance of the Bank of Ghana on?the interest rates due.
According to her, ?government is seriously working through the Attorney General?s (AG) Department to ensure that those monies are collected.
Angelina Mornah Domakyaareh made this revelation at the Ghana Institute of Engineers where SADA launched a partnership agreement for the development of SADA Projects.
She assured Ghanaians that under the new Board, there would be openness and transparency in the activities of SADA.
She averred that?SADA is a national agenda; coordinating a comprehensive development agenda for five regions ? Northern, Upper East, Upper West, the northern parts of the Brong Ahafo and Volta; representing the Northern Half of Ghana.
Angelina Mornah Domakyaareh urged the private sector and major local and international investors and development partners to support SADA?s development agenda for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
She indicated that the collaboration of SADA with the Ghana Institute of Engineers will be a fulfillment of the Authority?s mandate.
