Hajia Samira Bawumia, the Second Lady of Ghana, visited the Oti Region to rally voters and urged them to support the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming December 2020 elections.
She proudly emphasized the NPP’s remarkable achievements in revitalizing Ghana’s economy and promised sustained development under the leadership of Vice President Bawumia during her three-day tour of the region, instilling a sense of reassurance in the audience.
She highlighted the NPP’s commitment to further economic resilience and prosperity for all, emphasizing Vice President Bawumia’s role in advancing digitalization and job creation, particularly in the IT sector, where plans for one million new jobs are being implemented. She asserted that Ghana needs a visionary leader who empathizes with its people and is dedicated to supporting every citizen, and she believes that leader is Bawumia.
Hajia Samira Bawumia referred to the NPP’s flagship policies, such as the Ghana Card and free Senior High School (SHS), and urged unity among party members for a resounding victory in the upcoming polls. This emphasis on unity made the audience feel included and part of a larger cause, strengthening their connection to the NPP.
Furthermore, during her tour, Hajia Samira Bawumia demonstrated the NPP’s unwavering commitment to healthcare by donating much-needed medical equipment to the Worawora Government Hospital in the Biakoye district. This act of care and value for the citizens’ health was a testament to the NPP’s dedication to the welfare of the people.
