Samsung’s Premium Brand Store Opens in Ghana


Samsung Ghana, a technology giant, has opened an ultramodern store dubbed Premium Brand Store (PBS).

The two-storey PBS, which is located along the Ring Road, near Paloma in Accra, has been described as the biggest Samsung store in West Africa.

Addressing journalists at the inauguration of the PBS last Friday, Nour Seklawi, Managing Director of Electro Land Limited, disclosed that the PBS comes at a time when Samsung has shifted its attention to Africa to grow its market share across the consumer electronics and mobile segments.

He mentioned that his outfit-Electro Land Limited partnered Samsung Electronics West Africa (SEWA) to open the PBS.

According to him, both institutions have adopted the PSB initiative to maintain their position in Africa to ensure that consumers have easy access to world-class and innovative electronic appliance and smart devices.

“This Samsung brand store is offering our customers the full Samsung experience across our digital, audio visual and home appliances segments, this will provide the consumer with a stimulating environment in which to discover the full spectrum of Samsung world-class offering in one easily accessible location,” he stated.

Director of Consumer Electronics, Vishwas Saxena, said PBS has a product experience zone, which has a full range of Samsung digital appliances and other smart devices to give customers true adventure and satisfaction while transacting business.

He further mentioned that the business lounge has on display a number of latest Samsung luxury products, which include the Ultra High Definition Television (SUHD TVS), the world’s fastest cooling Triangle and Jet Engine air conditioners, among others.

“As a brand that always puts customers first, our mission is to provide them with infrastructure that provides convenience of shopping in an easy –to –access environment, believing that the current location of the first-ever PBS will give our cherished customers a relaxed environment for the needed shopping satisfaction,” he remarked.

He also said the ongoing Samsung product promo dubbed, ‘Big Bang Promo’ would end on December 31, 2016.
