Lucio Lara, 87, one of the founding members of the ruling Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLP), died on February 27 and was buried in Luanda on Wednesday during a ceremony attended by President Eduardo dos Santos and President Manuel Pinto da Costa.

AngolaDuring his 24-hour stay in Luanda, Manuel Pinto da Costa held a work meeting with Eduardo dos Santos over issues of bilateral, regional and international interests, Angola’s official news agency Angop said.
