Asante Kotoko agile goalie Felix Annan has stated that in football penalty saves sometimes comes with luck.

The 22-year old shot stopper last Sunday was a hero after saving two crucial penalty kicks in the shot outs for the Kotoko Libya team during an in house friendly game against the Kotoko side that won the maiden edition of the GHALCA G-6 tourney with his side winning 8-7 on penalties.

When asked about the trick he used to the save the two kicks, the fast improving shot stopper said;

“Saving penalty kicks in a game sometimes is lucky because you have to get to one place and make sure you stretch yourself very hard. I just took my time, dived to it and hopefully I was able to save two to help my team win,” Annan told Ghanasoccernet.com

The former Black Satellites goalie has been looking forward for the number one spot at the Kumasi-based club but he has to beat off competition from the current number one Eric Ofori Antwi.
