Mr Debrah who is leading a National Democratic Congress campaign team on a six-day tour of the Brong Ahafo Region implored the youth not to allow themselves to be used by any political party to fight political opponents.

He said this yesterday Thursday at a rally of NDC supporters at Brosankro in the Tano South Constituency and added that our political differences should not be exploited to disrupt the peace of Ghana.

“Don’t fight among yourselves, your political opponents are not enemies so don’t hate or cause them any hurt. Say no to violence”, he advised.

Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi who is also part of the delegation told the crowd that the Akufo-Addo-led New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) desperation for political power has driven them to make unrealistic promises.

He pooh poohed the NPP’s one district one factory campaign promise and explained that until all districts have potable water, good roads, reliable energy and other critical facilities to create the enabling environment for the setting up of factories, the one ‘district one factory’ policy remains a deceptive political promise.

Prof. Ahwoi also lashed out at the NPP for their recklessness and irresponsibility over allegations that its manifesto was stolen by the NDC and Ayarigah’s APC.

“The NPP needs deliverance…If they cannot protect a common manifesto, how can they protect you and l”?,he quizzed.

The Brosankrohene ,Nana Appiahene Kusi, commended government for the building of a Community Day Senior High School in the area, construction of new wards for the Brosankro Clinic and six basic schools, extension of electricity to other villages within the vicinity among others.

According to him, the good works of the NDC administration must be supported and President Mahama given another term in office for development in continuity.

At Bechem, where the campaign team paid a courtesy call on the Chiefs and elders and later addressed a crowd at the community center, Mr Totobi Kwakye,a former National Security minister and NDC stalwart, told the gathering that the NDC is a party for national development.

He mentioned the extension of electricity, construction of schools, hospitals, roads and all other major developments in the Brong Ahafo Region done by the NDC as testimonies of NDC’s commitment of bringing equity in development to every part of Ghana.

On her part, a member of the national campaign team of the NDC,Madam Faustina Nelson called on the people to reject the lies of the NPP against the NDC and vote massively for President Mahama and their parliamentary candidate,Hannah Bisiw,MP, come December 7.
