Information DAILY GUIDE has gathered indicates that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) vice presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, was on Monday denied access to the campus of the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) at Tarkwa in the Western Region.

Dr Bawumia was billed to address the students of the university at a students’ forum as part of his visit to the region.

Dr Bawumia had faced a similar experience in some parts of the country’s tertiary institutions.

The NPP has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government of orchestrating the rejections just to frustrate Dr Bawumia’s campaign.

DAILY GUIDE gathered that the Catholic Church at Tarkwa later offered its facility to Dr Bawumia to use for the forum.
