As part of events to mark this year’s Christmas, the Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Sekyere Afram Plains Constituency, Hajia Nasira Afrah (Obaatanpa), has organized free health screening and also donated assorted food items, clothing, and medical items to some vulnerable groups in the constituency.

Beneficiaries of this generous donation included widows, orphans, the elderly, people living with disabilities, and cadres across the entire constituency.

This charity covered over 1,000 beneficiaries, with each beneficiary receiving items ranging from a bag of rice, cooking oil, canned fish (mackerel), canned tomatoes, cloth, a crate of eggs, and one chicken.

The benefaction forms part of efforts by the parliamentary candidate to make the Christmas celebration possible for these vulnerable groups amidst the instability bedeviling Ghana’s economy.

The PC pledged that this gesture will be repeated annually and assured that the next NDC administration will continue to work with all to build the Ghana we want.

Hajia Nasira Afrah (Obaatanpa) extended her generous Christmas bestowal to other communities. She donated cash and assorted items to some public healthcare service workers and security personnel in the Sekyere Afram Plains Constituency.

A highlight was giving medical equipment, essential medicines, and supplies to the St. Vincent Clinic and paying all patients’ medical bills on admission in the District Capital, Drobonso.

The handout was also aimed at boosting workers’ morale and appreciating their sacrifices and hard work throughout the year.

The Parliamentary Candidate pledged to continue to collaborate with all workers in the district towards the realization of the ‘ANIDASOU NE MPUNTUO’ Transformational Agenda.
