The Asamang Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Hospital in the Sekyere South District has been presented with flat screen television sets.

These were a donation from the Sekyere Rural Bank Limited and was in response to an appeal made to it by the management of the facility.

Dr. Kwadwo Obese-Antwi, Chief Executive of the Bank, handed them over to the hospital at a ceremony held in Asamang.

He said as a good corporate citizen, it would continue to be associated with efforts at helping to improve the conditions there to enhance the quality of care.

It had earlier supplied the hospital with large quantity of bedsheet and provided it with other infrastructure.

He applauded the hospital workers for the good job they were doing to heal the sick.

Dr. Robert Kusi Acheampong, the Medical Superintendent, said they were grateful to the bank for the gesture.

He used the opportunity to appeal for the construction of accommodation for the doctors, nurses and other health professionals.

It also urgently needed an ambulance, anesthesia machines, incubators and baby warmers.

The 106-bed capacity hospital was established in 1984 .
