A business delegation from Slovenia arrived in Zambia on Thursday to explore investment opportunities.
The delegation of five companies is expected to meet stakeholders to explore opportunities in various sectors.
Anthony Mukwita, Zambia’s Ambassador to Germany who is also accredited to Slovenia, said Zambia has been constantly proven to be a preferred investment destination in the southern African region due to its stability, according to a release.
Damjan Zonta, leader of the business delegation, said the team was seeking to make investment in agriculture, trade, Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and renewable energy sectors.
According to him, the delegation chose Zambia on account of the country’s undisrupted peace and political stability.
The visit, he said, will also go a long way in increasing cooperation between the two countries and in job creation and poverty reduction. Enditem
