To this light renowned Nollywood actor, poet and playwright Femi Branch has decided to bring one of his plays to life, titled??JUNGLE JUSTICE?, stemming from his book ?FROM SENBORA: an anthology of 50 emotive poems and three plays, Jungle Justice, PO! and Kunme?.
Jungle justice has been staged in Lagos, Port Harcourt (Bony island) and now Femi Branch seeks to entertain, delight and teach audience members of Abuja, the art of comedy through stage presentation.
The play showcases the comical side of the judicial system, in which the judge himself is the chief rabble rouser of the day, with colloquial twists of words and actions the trial turns into a comical event instead of a serious murder trial.
The stage play brings to life the readers vivid imagination of intense scrutiny of the Nigerian judicial system at its comical finest.
The cast consist of popular actors, actresses and comedians such as Segun Arinze, Hafiz Oyetoro (SAKA), Femi Brainard, Mercy Aigbe, Doris Simeon, Rykardo Agbor, Funky Mallam, Mc Wanted etc. The team will be arriving Abuja (Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport) on the 13th?of August and will be staying in Abuja till the day of the play which is scheduled for August 18th?2013 at the Women Development Centre (main auditorium) Area 11.
