Few Ghanaian players got on target for their clubs over the weekend with only Frank Acheampong and Maxwell Acosty, the recognisable top-flight players getting on target and there was also debuts for Mahatma Otoo and Albert Adomah.

Dutch-born Erixon Danso also scored twice in the Dutch second-tier league while Albert Adomah and Mahatma Otoo marked their debuts for their respective clubs.


Winger Albert Adomah marked his debut for Middlesbrough by playing full time for them in their 1-0 win at Charlton Athletics.

Leeds United managed to hold Leicester City to a 0-0 draw at the King Power Stadium.

Former Man United trainee Jeffrey Schulpp warmed the bench for Leicester City.

Youngster Koby Arthur watched from the Birmingham City bench as they beat Yeovil Town 1-0 in the Championship on Saturday.

Birmingham City loanee Akwasi Asante played full time for Shrewsbury Town when they lost 3-0 at Leyton Orient.

KV Mechelen claimed a vital away point from their game with Waasland-Beveren after drawing 0-0.
