The Director of Soul Food Information Communication Technology College Pastor Eddie Letsa, speaking at the graduation ceremony explained that, Soul Food ICT College has been operating under the theme ” Free Computer Training for All” for the past 5years as a denominational training programme, to educate and equip determined young men and women in various information communications technology programmes.
The trainees were taken through: Computer Hardware, Networking , Windows 2003 Server , Windows 2008 Server, Cisco Certified Network Administration (CCNA), Linux SLED, Novel Netware, System Analysis & Design, Ubuntu Server Administration and the newly introduced certification called the Honors Diploma in Network Engineering (HDNE)
“These are programs which trainees would have had to pay enormous sums of money to study at other ICT Institutions in the country if not for Soul Food ICT College”, he said.
According to him, Soul Food Ministries International however strives to train students in these ICT programmes for free as its contributions to the welfare and development of the youth and society.
In order to make lives better through the provision of practical computing skills or trades whiles winning souls for the Kingdom of God.
This he said, since inception
7, 216 students have benefited from Soul Food Ministries’ free For All Computer Training Program- most of whom are gainfully employed.
“Soul Food College seeks to train many more people in this regard and therefore appeals to corporate Ghana , to philanthropist and non- profit making organization interested in the welfare and development of the youth to partner with us in training more people to make them skillful in ICT thereby providing them with a trade”, he appealed.
Pastor Eddie Letsa ,who is also the Founder and General Oveerseer of Soul Food Ministries International seized opportunity advise the beneficiaries to apply the knowledge they have acquired positively to impact lives and also address the challenges confronting the nation.
