Soul Food Ministries Equips 820 Youth in ICT


Soul Food Ministries International has graduated 820 students under its “Free For All ICT training Initiative”.
The Director of Soul Food Information Communication Technology College Pastor Eddie Letsa, speaking at the graduation ceremony noted that, the Free for All Training Program of Soul Food Ministries International has been on-going for the past 5 years and has offered to training to 7,785 youth in the country.

According to him, the decision of the church to offer these courses for free is to contribute to the call made by the government of Ghana on youth employment.

Pastor Eddie Letsa who is also the General Overseer of Soul Food Ministries International, explained that the Free For All ICT Training being offered by the Ministry is a non- denominational and religious biased training program which is aimed at educating and equipping the students in various Information Technology programs.
Such as :Hardware, Networking, Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 server, Cisco Certified Network, Administratration (CCNA), Linux SLED, Novel Netware, SQL, and the newly introduced Course ‘Network and Information Security’.

“Today, these graduates have achieved another great goal in their lives by the benevolence of Soul Food Ministries International as they have been offered practical computer training freely to enhance their livelihoods. The training has made them employable and as well , positioned them to be self employed”, he said.
Pastor Eddie Letsa , advised the graduates to use the knowledge
they have acquired judiciously in order to help solve the challenges confronting the nation. He also called on the Government of Ghana, all Political parties, Philanthropist, NGOs, ICT focused organizations and individual to support the initiative to enable ministry to train more youth in the country.
