A motorbike rider, Amidu Mohammed met his untimely death when he rammed his speeding motorbike into a truck on Saturday around 4:30am.
The rider, who attempted to avoid a collision with an oncoming car, rammed his motorbike into the truck which was parked in the middle of the road.
An eyewitness, who broke this pathetic news to Hello FM, a Kumasi-based radio station, said Mohammed died on the spot.
According to him, blood spilled all over the place, indicating that the impact of the crash was massive.
The eyewitness said Mohammed was riding the motorbike from Barekese area to the Abrepo Junction direction.
Upon reaching a point at Adankwame, Mohammed saw an oncoming car, whose lights, the eyewitness said, affected his sight preventing him from seeing properly at that juncture.
In an attempt to avert a possible crash with the oncoming car, Mohammed rammed his motorbike into the parked truck.
The eyewitness said the truck had developed a fault so it was parked right in the middle of the road.
Mohammed, who is said to be 45-years-old, died instantly after the accident.
Residents, who were awoken by the noisy crash, rushed to the scene only to find Mohammed lying in a pool of blood.
