The Sports Minister and Local Organising Committee (LOC) members for the 13th African Games recently paid a courtesy call to President Nana Akufo-Addo to express gratitude for his leadership during Ghana’s successful hosting of the continental event.
During the visit, they presented President Akufo-Addo with a commemorative medal and a t-shirt.
These tokens symbolize the unity and camaraderie the games fostered, bringing together athletes from across Africa under the sportsmanship banner.
Chief of Staff Madam Akosua Frema Osei-Opare was also honoured during the visit with a special gift in recognition of her contributions to the successful execution of the event.
The 13th African Games, held in Ghana, showcased its commitment to sports development and its ability to host major international sporting events.
