Signs 6 Month Deal with Serbian Side Vojvodina

Stephen Appiah

Ex-Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has ended his long wait for a club after joining Serbian side Vojvodina on a six-month deal.

The 31-year old was unveiled by the club at a press conference on Friday in Novi Sad. Appiah, who has been without a club since leaving Italian Side, Cesena last season agreed terms with the Serbian club early this week. He will wear the number ‘4’ jersey. The midfielder who led Ghana to two World Cup in 2006 (Germany) and 2010 (South Africa) announced his retirement after the last World Cup.
